Everyone deserves for their voice to be heard. everyone has a voice and we all as individuals have our own opinions. individuality is important in deciding our future for us individually and as a whole electorate. you as a single person make all your decisions. usually we go the safe way, do things others have done because we know it worked for them. But that's not that really the case, what works for someone doesn't always mean it'll work for yo, just because it kinda is right doesn't mean its perfect, i believe that happiness comes from your core and if you don't know yourself enough to be honest and daring to be willing to give yourself the best then you wont find happiness. You cant take someone else's happiness and just think its going to just magically work for you. you make your own choices, you make your own life, you make your own you. you cant blame anyone for your life but yourself. all you have is yourself you can either run from that or run with it. make it great, you're only ever going to live once why not live for yourself, do things that make you genuinely happy. help other through their times of need. give them advice that you have learned from the things you have faced. and by doing that we will become more powerful as a whole togetherness and love. This world could be a beautiful place, it wont get there if everyone thinks it wont. http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/johnlennon/imagine.html

This week we talked more about shared leadership and how our books we read related to it, and putting that information into a pecha kucha presentation, which is a presentation that all slides are 20 seconds with no words. The slides are used more as a visual aid to what you are supposed to be presenting, which in this case is shared leadership. My book choice was 1985, this book is about a man named Winston living in a society ran by ''big brother'' a really powerful central force, there are really no actual rules, like you can drink as much smoke as much as you want but you basically have to live for big brother. you have to listen to what they say and believe it no second guessing big brother because they are always right. that's what they want you to believe. if they say 2+2=5 then 2+2=5. Anything you think against big brother is known as a thought crime and is punishable by death. Its not something you can get away with easily either. you will always be caught. their are thought police everywhere, even children thought police so there's no way of escaping it. Big brother is powerful enough to make you think and or feel whatever you're told. and as a single electorate you're too scared to speak up and form together with everyone else to create something better because you and everyone else is too scared of what will happen if they do. Even though all of them together could make the needed change. https://nonprofitquarterly.org/2014/04/21/doing-more-with-more-putting-shared-leadership-into-practice/ In week 11 we our assignments and most time was spend on this book we got to choose out of a selection. So this week I've learned that i should be reading for information, and actually paying close enough attention to be able to comprehend all the things happening in the book, and to dig even deeper and discover deeper meaning and relate them to the world now. I've also had to find time to read, so I've had to be responsible enough to know i should read to actually be able to finish my book on time. i mean i can't say i actually practice it unfortunately but i know its important and that i should find time and should not in any way procrastinate as much as i do. Having these assignments and having to make connections has taught me to take notes on the book and do some foreshadowing can better help me get into the book and if i'm able to foreshadow correctly it just shows how close attention i am paying to the book. In conclusion, i should probably start being responsible and actually reading my book so i don't fail and or make it a habit and do nothing with my life because i cant even finish a book for one of my classes in like three weeks. losers quit when they are tired and winners quit when they have won. and i should probably take that advice and apply it. http://www.wikihow.com/Find-Deeper-Meaning-in-Literature
This week I learned about how shared leadership should play an important part in our government. most of these things i was already aware of but this week really opened my eyes up to it! i noticed how clueless we really are to whats happening in this world. Like are aliens actually real? i wouldn't know, you wouldn't know because of the hecking government. Its easy for the government to hide things from us, they can easily use fake news as a cover up or a distraction. We as the electorate just mostly go along with it. there are people who fight against it and believe that the government is hiding so many things from us. So many secrets being kept. we as the electorate believe we have no power over this, but by all of us unifying together to can make a huge difference. the government has to be hiding things from us. Their's no way the wouldn't be. But its crazy the differences we could make just by coming together and deciding not to let the government lie to us anymore. so many times have we been lied to, fake news has been given to distract us from real things that are happening. they obviously don't want us to know something so its not something good. they cant control what we know we are all people. And we all deserve to know what they know especially if its something that could be threatening. Electorates have the power to make a change but they just don't know that very well enough. https://www.oxfamamerica.org/explore/stories/the-power-of-people/ This week we discussed the topic of shared leadership and why it's important. We discussed how without shared leadership we would have a central main forced power like has happened in the past. Something that scares people to believe and conform to the controllers of this world want. people who disagree are not the same. diversity isn't a good thing. with shared leadership it creates a way for everyone to be happy, and all is fair. we need to set out on a goal and all work for it in equally fair ways. to have a shared power is more empowering itself. there is a quote in this classroom that reads "all of us are smarter than one of us" which is important to actually fulfill this. people as a whole working together can cause beautiful results. If more people were to ban together to hear everyone's voice and for everyone to ensure their voice is heard the world we would have more opinions and equality and just togetherness, it would be good for the world and having all the people, living for today. We decide our future, we take charge of what our future and its us who can change it or not. we are the ones in power, we just need to learn how loud our voices are. We are powerful enough to help each other as well as others. Speaking out as a whole better insures the knowledge we carry and how much more of a unified country we could be. so much more powerful and getting things done with trust. http://www.inc.com/kevin-daum/5-reasons-you-should-speak-up-even-when-you-think-you-shouldnt.html This week I've learned about time management and actually getting my work done on time. It can save me a lot of time and stress, if i just get it done and not set it off till the last minute i can create more efficient and not a half good thrown together piece. Procrastination is a pretty big problem for me, i'm always telling myself i'll do it later but never end up doing that and regret it a ton but still continue to do it! i confuse myself. but seems how it's close to the end of my grade school and almost the beginning of my college career so i should probably start being smart with my time and try to better myself for my future. choosing to do something, and just getting it over with. https://www.psychologytoday.com/basics/motivation In week one we talked about the ten rules for being human. Here are some of my favorites; Rule one is "You will receive a body. you may hate it, but it's yours to keep for the entire period." people are too concerned about looking like everyone else and not concerned enough about what really matters. its your body, love it because you don't get a different one. Number 5, "Learning lessons does not end. There's no part of life that deosn't contain it's lessons. if you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned." you will never stop learning, no one will ever know everything. Rule number 6; ""There" is no better a place than "here." When your "there" has become a "here", you will simply obtain another "there" that will again look better than "here."" were constantly wanting better things, striving to get those things and keep getting the better things. "Other people are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself." Rule number 8 "What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you make of your life is up to you. The choice is yours" what you become or so is all up to you, your in charge of your future. Like rule 8 rule 9 is "Your answers lie withing you. The answers to life's questions lie within you. All you need to do is look, listen and trust." so like rule nine, its all you.You decide your future and you already know what you need to know. And finally rule 10 "You will forget all this." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PN5JJDh78I
This week i have learned how hard writing personal stories can be. I'm pretty young, i have a lot to learn, but right now I'm the smartest I've ever been, I've also realized how simple it can be, just writing my thoughts as they occur to me. We listened to the ted talk "Please Don't Take My Air Jordans" which is basically about people being more worried about what they have on their bodies and the type of car they have. they want people to think they have those things because they’re good enough, because they are better than those who don’t wear name brand high class clothing. people will do almost anything to be seen as someone who is smart and successful, instead of actually being interested in the work to actually become that successful. Though that feeling of succeeding yourself is great, to be proud of what you have and who you are. people are just lazy, people don’t want to put in the time and effort but the sad thing is some people just don't think they’re good enough. anyone can accomplish anything they want. people will be there to tell them they're not good enough but who doesn't face that at some point in they’re life. they need to be willing to keep on bettering themselves and to push through. no matter who thinks they can't do it as long as they think they can and they are and determined and willing to look elsewhere they will do the most. doors will be shut for you, its up to you to look for other doors. heres one of my favorite youtube videos, it inspires me to follow my dreams and make it count https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1dItl1tvYRA I've learned this week about the seven elements of digital storytelling including the point of view which is what view your story is being told to help make your point of the story clearer. Also giving your story a dramatic question, to draw your readers in, to make them interested in answering that question. Adding emotion to your piece will give it more emphasis and add make it more dramatic or captivating, like feeling in your story as well, make your reader feel what you want by using emotion in your writing. Its good to have. write some personal stories, give your story voice, detail is very important in keeping attention. the soundtrack can help take your story to the emotion you’re after. A sad melody fits an emotional writing piece, while an upbeat soundtrack will bring more happiness to your words. Pacing and rhythm will make your story easy to follow. I've learned that theres so many different ways of writing. you can do so much ad have so much power when writing. you can make people feel deep emotions just from words on a paper. theres many factors that go into making your story depict the emotion you want your readers to feel. there are so many stories that have been told and so many to be told. I've also learned how personal experiences have the ability to change lives. that how powerful words can be, powerful enough to actually change someones life! people just need to be willing.
